Building Better Bands is an annual workshop for band directors that offers lectures by world-class clinicians on topics of motivation, techniques, conducting and new literature.

As a committed school music dealer our stated purpose for this workshop is “to bring the finest clinicians we can find to the finest band directors we know”.
It is a time to renew and reflect, to learn from the best minds in the business and to spend time with the band of brother and sisters that make up this unique group of educators.
Our 2011 clinicians included Tim Lauzenheiser, Paula Crider, Colonel Lowell Graham, Johnnie Vinson, Mary Luehrsen, Jon Metzger and Kayden Jenkins. We are grateful for the support of Hal Leonard, Conn Selmer, N.A.M.M. and A.S.B.D.A. who helped make this event possible.
